Colemak ("the app") is made by Chungkyeong Lee. This policy explains what the app and its keyboard do with information. The app is available for iPhone.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. It does not access your contacts, photos, location, camera, microphone or other personal data on your device.

What you type

Colemak is a keyboard. It does not ask for Full Access, so iOS keeps it from connecting to the network, sharing data with other apps or keeping anything outside its own memory. What you type goes only to the app you are typing in. The keyboard does not record, store or send your keystrokes. It only keeps track of things like whether shift is on, and forgets that once the keyboard closes.

How the app works

The Colemak app explains how to turn on the keyboard, shows its layout and gives you a field to try it in. It does not connect to any server, and nothing you type in the practice field is saved.

Data stored on your device

None. The app and the keyboard don't save settings or text. Deleting the app removes the keyboard too.

Third parties

No third-party services or SDKs are included. Colemak is a keyboard layout designed by Shai Coleman; this app is an independent implementation and is not affiliated with the Colemak project. We do not sell, rent or share any information.

Retention and deletion

We keep no personal data, so there is nothing to delete on our side. If you have a question about your data, email us and we will answer within 30 days.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
